On April 23, 2015, the Simonds-Hurd Complementary Care Center held its first big, and first annual fundraiser to help raise monies to expand select programs and services to the patients on the Leominster campus and in Home Health and Hospice. The event raised approximately $1400, which will help launch a brand new volunteer program called Caring Hands, offering free hand massages to patients and visitors to help relief tension and anxiety during their visit to the hospital.
The event was held at the beautiful Devens Common Center and featured holistic providers and businesses from the surrounding communities, demonstration classes and talks from our center providers and instructors, beautiful piano music featuring Adam Bergeron, amazing raffles, wonderful food, wine and beer samples, and the highly entertaining comedic hypnotist, Tommy Vee.
Please enjoy the gallery of pictures from the event and we hope you can join us at next year’s. Stay tuned for more details on that!
